6 Nominations at Filmfare OTT Awards for Series Shot with Clockwork

Awards season has been approaching. One of the biggest – FilmFare OTT Awards 2022 just announced that both web series “Apharan 2” and “Shoorveer”, shot with Clockwork Films in Serbia have been nominated in 3 categories each one, representing huge success and hard work for our production. Web series “Apharan 2” has been nominated for best series, best director and best actor in drama series. “Hawks” series has got 3 nominations, as well, for best series, best director and best supporting actor in drama series.

Clockwork Film is absolutely delighted and honored to have been acknowledged in these series by the biggest Indian film awards. Both projects were filmed in various locations in Serbia and they received important Government support to film here. Local crew hired by our service production counted more than 450 members, including famous Serbian actors – Jakov Jeftovic and Miona Markovic. All are the best industry specialists in the region. “Apharan 2” was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Tanveer Bookwala and “Hawks” was led by Samar Khan and Bharat Bohra, all 4 being huge Bollywood names. Producers Ekta Kapoor and Tanveer Bookwala already shot their 2nd series in Serbia in 2021 named “Cold mess”. In 2019 we have shot a huge blockbuster “Baaghi 3” where we worked with producer Bharat Bohra for the first time. To conclude, having foreign producers coming back to film with us in Serbia shows the level of professional satisfaction hiring the local crew and production.

Both nominated series were very ambitious in production terms, especially “Hawks” where we shot within Serbian Army compounds and which couldn’t be executed without extremely professional military pilots and all their personnel. In both series Clockwork Film hired Serbian stunt team – SKA – led by Slavisa Ivanovic, the best in the region, with whom we have worked for many years now. On December 10th the winners will be announced and we hope for the best ones to get the recognition deserved.
